The city of Hallandale has been known to be one of the fastest growing cities in South Florida. Hallandale is the last city in Broward County before crossing to the Dade-County line and is home to attractions such as The Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino and the Mardi Gras Casino, which boast a greyhound racing track that host the annual World Classic.
Tourist are known to retire in this city that is known for it's close proximity to the beaches and the neighboring towns of Hollywood & Aventura. The city of Hallandale Beach operates a free mini bus that also connects riders between the three cities allowing for easy accessibility to the nearby Aventura mall, downtown Hollywood, and the many shopping centers and attractions in between.
